About the event
Krakow is one of the oldest Polish cities, with records of a bustling trading center dating back to 985. It served as the second capital of Poland from 1038 until 1595 and boasts Europe’s largest Gothic market square. The city is renowned for its Gothic, Renaissance, and Art Nouveau architecture, vibrant cultural scene, excellent cuisine, and proximity to significant sites like the Wieliczka Salt Mine, the Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec, and the ideal Socialist-Realist city of Nowa Huta.
Krakow was the independent Polish city for all but 72 years of its history (when it became part of Austrian Empire).
The Associazione Culturale Europea APS, in collaboration with the Polish Semester, is organizing a trip to explore this European gem.
